Chester Village West to Feature Local Photographers
From a press release provided by Cary Hull:
Beginning this month, Chester Village West will host a monthly exhibit of works by Chester artists and photographers. Opening Friday, Feb. 12, a few of the photographs by Peter Walker will be at the retirement community. Many people know Peter Walker as an actor, singer, and lyricist. They may have seen him as the Marlboro Man in many early commercials or in plays and musicals on Broadway and off-Broadway, as well as at the new Kate theater in Old Saybrook, the Ivoryton Playhouse, and the Eugene O’Neil Theater Center. And maybe they’ve run into Peter in downtown Chester, where he has been a resident for many years.
Peter has also been a longtime photographer of places near and far. A wine and cheese reception will be held on Friday, Feb. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is invited. The photographs can be seen between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily until March 11.
