Tri-Town Youth Services to Host Training for Sellers of Alcoholic Beverages

The directors of the youth service bureaus serving Chester, Deep River, East Haddam, Essex, Haddam, and Killingworth, along with Jeff Rhoades, Resident State Trooper, Town of East Haddam, will conduct a training for sellers of alcoholic beverages on November 9th and 10th.
The training is designed to instill confidence in participants to intervene in situations so that alcohol is sold to consumers responsibly and legally. Completion of the class and passing a short exam will prepare businesses for compliance checks conducted by the Connecticut State Liquor Commission.
One class will be offered on Monday November 9th from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Haddam Youth Center, 7 Candlewood Road, in Higganum. Another option is a class offered on Tuesday, November 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Liberty Bank in Deep River.
There is a limit of twenty per class. Cost is $16 which covers the session and training materials.
