Soon after the initial report of a shooting, troopers received a 911 call from a woman who said her ex-boyfriend had shot her current boyfriend while sitting in a car in Westbrook. The woman said the ex-boyfriend, who police believe to be Finkeldey, then took her in another vehicle to Essex, where she was able to escape from the vehicle.
